2002.... a banner year! We moved into our new house in January. We had a bunch of relatives over for Easter. We got MARRIED in May!!!! We went on a fantastic honeymoon in Charleston, SC in July and also got to see some family there too. We went up to northern MI to go to Sandy's 20th Class Reunion and we also took a side trip up to Mackinac Island with Sandy's sister Holly. We had house guests for "Taste of Blue Ash" again in August.... what an awesome annual tradition! We saw a super baseball game... the last in old Riverfront Stadium (Cinergy Field)... a softball game among baseball LEGENDS including Pete Rose!
So, you know the drill... click on the small pictures and a full-sized one will pop-up in another window.
The Easter Bash! What a house full! What a way to break in our new house! We had family come from as far away as Arizona and California! What a great time we had...Chris and Bob treated us to a fun game of "The Price is Right". We also celebrated Sandys Grandmother's 80'th Birthday!
Our wedding day! May 25th, 2003. Pastor Eastman came out to our house to perform the ceremony. Friends Renee and Joe performed a wonderful song "Make Believe it's Your First Time". It was a nice gathering of friends and family. We had a bonfire and people camped out... what fun!
We honeymooned in Charleston, SC. What a nice old city so full of history from the Civil War times and the old south. We also got to enjoy the 4th of July with family; Aunt MaryJo and Uncle Fred, and cousin Bob all went over to Cousin Cheri and John's place to have a nice family picnic.
Our trip to Northern MI for Sandy's 20th Class Reunion. And also a fun bonfire at Jim & Leona's place. AND the cool trip to Mackinac Island with Sandy's sister Holly... and the stop at Seashell City! What a blast!
Well, it happened again!... The Taste of Blue Ash get-together at Dan & Sandy's place. This year Bart brought his wife Judy down and Brad brought his daughter Holly and her friend Amy down. Yes, of course we had a bonfire... The musical acts included Mark Farner from Grand Funk, Leslie Gore and The Turtles.
OK... well, I have NEVER seen such a collection of baseball legends all together ever before... It was a softball game between the Cincinnati Red's Legends against the Allstars of Major league baseball. I mean think of every baseball legend that is still living and put them into Riverfront Stadium! That was cool!
